Friends of the College of the Desert Library Book Group

The Book Group meets September through May from 1:30 - 3:00 at

the Palm Deset Library Group Study Room.  

Categories are selected for each month, everyone reads a different book in that genre, then discusses.

September 19, 2024 -- A Popular book you didn't like --  DETAILS

October 24, 2024 -- any book by Anna Quindlen -- DETAILS

November 14, 2024 -- any Fiction or Non-fiction about a President -- DETAILS

December 19, 2024 -- A Classic -- DETAILS 

January 16, 2025 -- Book featured in previous Friends Author Lunch -- DETAILS

February 20, 2025 -- Love story, fiction or non-fiction -- DETAILS

March 20, 2025 -- Book about or written by a author from Ireland or Italy -- DETAILS

April 17, 2025 -- Book written during or about 1900 to 1999 --  DETAILS  

May 15, 2025 -- Autobiography or Biography --  DETAILS

The group chooses a genre for each month rather than a specific book for all to read.  Each member reports on the book he or she has chosen.

The Book Group has been a very welcoming group so new people should feel free to come. We ask that you become a member of the Friends of the COD Library to participate.  Join us
